We are deeply grateful for the support of our family and friends, which enables us to participate in Wreaths Across America for the 14th year at Holy Hope Cemetery, where Sgt. Martin A Lugo, as well as many of our parents, relatives, and friends, are laid to rest.
Today, we successfully placed 900 wreaths, thanks to the collective efforts of many community members who contributed to the success of our ceremony. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Major Steven Spiece and Cholla HS ROTC, Ms. Chizuru Jurman, and the THMS Troubadoras, Rebecca McKee, Freddy Alvarez, Sr. Lynn Alvin, Conrad, Rebecca McKee and Ernie Duarte Dir. at Holy Hope Cemetery and several Boy Scout Troops.
This event would not be possible without the support of St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center - UofA and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Thank you❤️

Today our caring Tucson community of family and friends gathered at Holy Hope Cemetery to remember Veterans at their final resting places by placing 2700 Honor Wreaths. Gold Star family of Fallen Ranger 1/75th Bn. Sgt Martin A. Lugo KIA 8-19-10, Maria Marin, Esteban Oropeza, Leslie Lugo along with their soul family- Genevieve, Ernie and Andrew Gallardo offer our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all who sponsored wreaths, donated resources, helped to prepare for the ceremony and of course, all who participated and attended today's event! As we commence with the Christmas season, let us remember that Jesus is the reason for the season as he modeled for our brave soldiers exactly what we remembered and honored them for today- John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. We shall never forget!
