No animal should get to that level, I don't care the reason. He probably only had days left to hang on. For some unfortunately help comes to late and others help just never comes. Don't know if you have the right set up or doing the right thing ask questions, we are always happy to help. This your animal is sick, take it to the vet. Can't afford a vet, surrender it, it's about what is best for them not you.

Flynn for the first wanted some silkworms yesterday. He didn't want any today but it's ok, its a start!

Turbo tried to eat the syringe so I got a silkworm. His vet wants to wait to increase his food since he sometimes seems to have a little trouble keeping it down. I keep him at an angle after eating. I did give him a couple drops of water afterwards to see if thick saliva from dehydration is part of the problem. So far he only puffed once and is doing good. We should definitely have more answers Sunday at his appt. But yay Turbo! I was so shocked he was even interested in food.

Turbo got an upgrade! He is in a 40 now. He's little basking spot only gets to 85ish so he can't get too hot. I have a call into the vet. He a couple times now has done a puff kind of gag after eating. This morning he keep swallowing a lot afterwards. Weak throat muscles or lack of calcium can be the cause. He is supposed to be doubling how much food he gets which makes me very nervous with him doing that. I have been propping him up after eating. So we'll see what she wants to do.

Turbo is doing sooooo good, he is getting upgraded tonight. And Thursday he can start eating 5mls a day instead of 2.5ml...
