This holiday season, the generosity of Wheels for Kids made a meaningful difference in the lives of seven families, turning Christmas into a time of joy, hope, and renewed opportunity.

Through the donation of bicycles, these families experienced more than just a holiday gift—they received a pathway to health, connection, and active living. Parents and children alike expressed deep appreciation for the kindness shown, sharing how the bikes brought smiles, excitement, and togetherness during the Christmas season.

Beyond the immediate joy, these bicycles are already creating a lasting impact. By encouraging regular physical activity, they support healthier lifestyles and help families take proactive steps toward diabetes prevention and overall wellness. The bikes offer a fun, accessible way for families to stay active together, strengthening both physical health and family bonds.

We are grateful to Wheels for Kids for their compassion and commitment to uplifting families. Their generosity continues to roll forward, creating healthier futures and brighter holiday one family at a time.

The Roman Bravo-Young Wrestling Camp 2025 was an incredible experience that brought together 19 youth participants for a high-energy, skill-building clinic focused on discipline, confidence, and love for the sport of wrestling. Hosted at Roman Bravo-Young’s Wrestling Club, the camp created a welcoming and inspiring environment where youth were able to train, learn, and grow alongside world-class athletes and coaches.

A heartfelt thank you to Roman Bravo-Young, who generously donated his time, facility, and team to make this camp possible. His professionalism, humility, and commitment to youth development made a lasting impact on everyone involved.

We are deeply grateful to Sunnyside Coach Jon Rios, UFC Champion Dominick Cruz, and World Wrestling Championship medalist Assylzhan Yessengeldi for volunteering their time and expertise to train and motivate our youth.

We also extend sincere appreciation to our community supporters who helped elevate the participant experience:
• Rocky – New Stitch
• Daniel Gastelum – Sunnyside Native American Education Program
• Nayelly – Titan Restoration of Tucson
• Gilbert Alcaraz – Event Photography

This camp exemplified the power of community, mentorship, and positive role models. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this an unforgettable experience for our youth. We look forward to building on this momentum through future partnerships and events.

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe Charitable Organization (PYTCO) had an amazing experience participating in this year’s El Tour de Tucson. Our team was proud to support and stand alongside the Pascua Yaqui Wellness Center throughout the event weekend.

PYTCO staff and volunteers enjoyed connecting with community members, sharing resources, and representing the Pascua Yaqui Tribe with pride. The energy at the event was incredible filled with meaningful conversations, cultural representation, and strong support from riders and visitors alike.

Our collaboration with the Pascua Yaqui Wellness Center made this year’s participation especially memorable. Together, we helped promote wellness, health awareness, and community engagement, strengthening our shared mission to uplift and support Tribal members and the broader Tucson community.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who visited our table, supported our efforts, or took part in the event. PYTCO looks forward to continuing our partnership with the Pascua Yaqui Wellness Center and enhancing our presence at future community events.
