The Civano Parent Association would like to thank all of our families, staff, and volunteers for a great school year! We are excited for our new board and all they will bring to the upcoming school year.

If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to fill out the survey Andrea sent out regarding feedback on school events. Your input truly matters and helps guide future activities and opportunities for our students and families.

Without the CPA, many of these events would not be possible. Thank you for your continued support and involvement!

Meet your Treasurer...Bre has been a Civano parent for ten years and counting. She loves the school community and is honored to continue to support the staff, parents and students in her second year as the Treasurer.

Bre works closely with the other CPA Board of Officers to track income and expenses, prepare financial reports, and support fundraising efforts that directly impact our school community. When not balancing the books and working full time, you can find Bre enjoying time with her two daughters and husband, painting and singing.

Meet your other co-Vice President Garrett. He was volunteer of the year before being hired on at the middle school. He has been involved with Civano since his son was in 2nd grade, who is bridging over next week to 6th grade. He has been a silent volunteer on the board, the last 2 years as his wife Kymberli was secretary and helping host events like: Harvest hop, stem night and other. In his spare time he loves outdoor adventures and caving.

Let's meet one of your co-VPs. My name is Reba Serrano and I am honored to be serving as Co-Vice President for 2026-2027. I have been an educator for 23 years and retired last May after teaching for 19 years on the beautiful White Mountain Apache Reservation. I returned to Tucson where I started
my teaching career at Mesquite and Desert Sky where I taught music. I wanted to be closer
to family and have been enjoying subbing and helping with CPA with my daughter Jennifer
and where my grandson is attending. Looking forward to a fun year with an awesome crew

Meet your 2026-2027 CPA President.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Noriega and this will be my second year in CPA and I get the honor of being your CPA president for 2026-2027 school year! After 14 years as a Corrections Sgt, I am a proud stay at home Mom of 2 beautiful boys! My youngest will be in 1st grade, and I homeschool my oldest who is 14. I have lived in Tucson over 40 years and I've spent many years working with non profit organizations. In my spare time, you can find me painting, building a model or dollhouse, or paddle boarding in the summer!
I have a lot of ideas for this next year and look forward to working with my CPA team, all of Civano parents and staff to put them into action! I would also like to encourage Civano parents and staff to bring me your ideas of how we can reignite that 'Family Feel' that Civano Community School is known for!!

🌟 What is the Civano Parent Association (CPA)?

The CPA is a volunteer-led parent organization that supports students, staff, and families at Civano Community school K-8. CPA helps build a strong school community through family events, teacher appreciation, fundraising, volunteer opportunities, and student enrichment activities.

CPA organizes events like:
✨ Pizza Mondays
✨Harvest hop
✨ Love of reading week
✨ Teacher Appreciation Week
✨ STEM & Family Nights
✨ School dances and community events
✨ Fundraisers that directly support students and staff
✨ Paid for middle school basketball court and soccer goal.

🌟CPA also encourages families to volunteer, connect, and help create memorable experiences for Civano students. The organization works closely with school staff and the community to promote engagement, communication, and school spirit.
