We are so excited to announce our Mariposa Park Clean up on March 13th at 9:30 AM with 🥳🤩

Join us to clean up the barrio and learn more about a special project in the works… a rain-garden pocket park! 😎 Learn more at our Rain Garden Pop-Up table at the clean up! 💧💧

Also, we are SO excited to collaborate with local artist Alex Jimenez (), who will be setting up an interactive art station where you can contribute to a community flipbook
animation of water, listen to audio recordings of the monsoon
rains, and make drawings about water to be used for small community murals 🤩🌦

We will be canvassing the neighborhood to share the news with neighbors, so catch us on your street soon! We can’t wait to see you all join us for this special and exciting event! 🥳

Happy 2022 Fairgrounds Barrio! 🥳🎉

After such an exciting 2021, we are to enter this new year as an association with our Fairgrounds community! Our first official meeting will be held this Thursday, 02-03-22, at 6 PM at 220 E. Michigan Dr. 🤩

Are there goals you’d like for us to accomplish this new year? New ideas you want to share? Concerns you want to shed light on? This meeting will be just the place to share your voice!

We can’t wait to see you all soon and look forward to starting a new year of possibilities together! (Have a neighbor who doesn’t have social media? Share this post with them and bring them along!)

We are super excited to announce that we are partnering with to bring more trees into our barrio 🌳 Neighbors, check your mailboxes for more information and make sure you sign up for your free trees by November 28th!

Hi everyone, we are the Fairgrounds Association! 🥳 Our neighborhood is located between Ajo and Irvington, Park and 6th Ave.

We are a neighborhood filled with lots of love, generations of families, and a strong sense of community ✨ our associations intention is to strengthen our barrio through upcoming events and community clean-ups that are hosted with our barrios very own, Barrio Restoration 🤩 with more events to come, we will be posting and updating this page to showcase our love for this community 💕
