That’s our Vero!

Today, we’re celebrating 4 years of Vero at Sunnyside Foundation and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team.

As our Director of Operations, Vero keeps us organized, helps us navigate everyday challenges, and somehow makes sure things don’t spiral into complete chaos.

Honestly, everybody needs a Vero in their lives, and we feel pretty lucky that ours is part of the Sunnyside Foundation.

SUSD teachers, great opportunities are coming your way! 🍎 ✨

We’re just one week away from the opening of the Sunnyside Foundation 2026–2027 Mini-Grant Application on Monday, Aug. 17!

If selected, you could receive up to $1,000 to bring your creative projects to life and enhance your classroom resources in: Fine Arts & Music, Literacy, STEM and Student Wellness

But before August 17 we encourage you to submit the District’s External Grant Funding Form.

📌We've recently learned that a social media post is directing people to the Sunnyside Foundation for emergency rental assistance.

While we're always grateful to help connect our community with resources, we would like to clarify that, unfortunately, the Sunnyside Foundation does not currently offer an emergency rental assistance program.

If you or someone you know is looking for emergency rental assistance, we encourage you to visit the Pima County Emergency Services Program to learn about available resources and how to apply:
