Hello Tucson!! As part of Utopia Day on April 15th, which we aim to get recognized as an international holiday, we are organizing a community cleanup where we will start on the northeast corner of the I-19 & Valencia and head east for a half an hour cleaning up whatever we can, then we will cross the street, cleaning up the south side of Valencia Rd heading back west for the other half hour; please join us!! We will be ready to rock & roll at 11 AM and we'll have gloves and bags waiting for you!! Indeed, with cleanliness cometh goodness, beauty, & favorable fortune, while with filth cometh evil, criminality, and misfortune; let us make and keep our communities as clean as can be!!

We all want to come home to a house that is clean, we all want to spend time in places that are beautiful and uplifting. Earth Beautiful is an endeavor to clean and beautify the entirety of our planet, one city at a time. Of course, with eight billion people inhabiting this planet, and after decades of unmitigated and unparalleled human consumption, the scale of our ambitions and the sheer magnitude of this undertaking at first glance sounds ridiculous and absurd -and even laughable. But with that said, we know that once the leaders and people of any city determine that they want their city to be clean and beautiful, they will succeed in making it clean and beautiful within one year’s time. We at the Betterment of All Humans Foundation intend to start with our home of Tucson, Arizona, and hopefully inspire other cities from there.

We will start by picking up trash and debris, then move on to planting greenery, painting houses, and eventually putting up artwork. We know that there is hidden power in cleanliness and beauty to inspire and foster positivity, and that by helping to clean and beautify our communities, we will be making them safer and happier; for indeed, filth is a close companion of wickedness and crime, whereas cleanliness goes hand-in-hand with goodness and righteousness..

And even beyond cleaning and beautifying, and fostering inspiration and positivity, the aim of Earth Beautiful is to engage members of the community, especially the youth and those living on the streets, and get them spending their time in a productive manner and involved in acts of service. We believe there is nothing more important than getting people engaged in acts goodness and things that enrich the soul, for the state of the world, or that of any community, shall always reflect the state of the men and women living therein; if the men and women of a given community have great goodness and beauty within them, their community shall manifest goodness and beauty, and if it be the case that there is great wickedness and vice within the men and women of a community, such shall be reflected where they reside. So, we must all continuously work towards something that is good and positive, so that our lives become good and positive, and so that goodness and positivity abound on this planet we all call home.

For better or for worse, true hunger and thirst is not known to many of us, so let us count our blessings and hope we can continue to have ready access to the foods and drinks of our choice.. But with that being said, for all the immense wealth and material prosperity generated over the past several decades, there are still many of our brothers and sisters throughout the world who hunger and thirst while some of us freely waste food..

As strange a proposal it may seem in order to better the world, we would like to encourage our brothers and sisters everywhere to observe a fast every Thursday. This is to be a full fast, where one abstains from eating or drinking anything (including water), from sunrise to sunset. Fasting is a time-tested way to increase self-discipline and achieve spiritual growth, and has the effect of making one more humble and sympathetic. As so, we believe fasting to be a means of making masses of people more caring, compassionate, and giving of themselves, and will undoubtedly lead to more charitable activity, not the least more action taken to end hunger once and for all..

Over and above this, fasting has proven and substantial benefits for both mental and physical health, and these benefits alone will do much in the way of helping to pave the way for happier and more balanced men and women, which in turn will pave the way for a happier and more balanced world. So, Brothers & Sisters, please fast on Thursdays that you may nourish your inner worlds and help cultivate a better future for us all!!

Can we tell you a bit about the power of fruit trees?? Fruit-Tree Saturday is a simple, easy, and uncontroversial way for us to promote unity and a sense of community throughout the world in addition to combating climate change, bettering the conditions of life, and increasing the available supply of healthy foods. The idea is that on the third Saturday of every March, ideally sometime during the morning, everyone around the world who is able will go out and plant a fruit tree of their choice (or donate to an organization that supports agriculture if this is not possible).

Never has all the world been united around a single purpose, but this plan can change this. Unity and common purpose is of supreme importance for it is the key to universal peace and prosperity. Indeed, our world is flush with resources and can abundantly support all life herein, but the divisions we have created and the animosity that has festered throughout the centuries has made it so there are still those among us who fight just to have enough to eat.. Indeed, this is beyond unfortunate but with this small but good deed, we can take a significant and meaningful step towards building unity and reducing division.

Moreover, with widespread participation, we will have hundreds of millions of new trees helping to capture the carbon we pollute into our atmosphere, thereby providing help in the fight against climate change. These new trees will also support the lives of insects, birds, and other animals in addition to yielding us millions of pounds of healthy and fresh food, making it easier for us to live healthy lives as well as feed our hungry brothers and sisters.

This is all very, very good -but it gets even better.. Though be it a relatively small sacrifice for one to take time out of his or her day to plant a tree, it is indeed still a sacrifice, and whenever one sacrifices for the sake of the greater good, one increases in virtue. This is of utmost importance because lack of virtue is the greatest threat humanity faces, as well as the ultimate source of almost every single problem that plagues mankind. Hence, this may be the most important thing We can possibly ever say to you: the widespread practice of virtue -from political leaders, to religious leaders, to business leaders, to the masses of men, women, and children- will without a doubt produce a world in which all enjoy Liberty, Justice, Peace, and Prosperity. So, with that said, Brothers and Sisters, let us all endeavor to lead virtuous lives and let us plant fruit trees on the third Saturday of March!!

We all understand that we need to pitch in to alleviate human suffering and be part of the fight to make the world a better place, but how much must we sacrifice?? For us, the magic number is two and a half. With a 2.5% contribution from everyone who earns an income, we believe that would suffice to fully provide for the needs of those who have less.

There are those among us who are wealthy, but of course, these are few in number. For the rest of us, we earn, we pay our taxes, and the rest we use to support ourselves and our loved ones and to continue our individual pursuits of happiness. Though 2.5% is not a great figure, still, it constitutes a significant sacrifice, and when pooled together, will make a substantial difference.

In fact, we are willing to bet that it would make all the difference. It is not easy to care for one’s self, for those around us, and to leave space in our hearts for the rest of humanity, but, if we are to realize the promise of a better tomorrow, do we have much choice?? So please, Brother & Sisters, if you and your loved ones do not live in poverty, donate 2.5% of your after-tax income to an organization who will go out and fight for a better world on your behalf!!

Indeed, this nation is too wealthy for any American to contend with hunger on a persistent basis, we dispose of and waste too much food for any one of us to go without, and indeed, if we can feed over 150 million dogs and cats, we can easily feed our brothers and sisters who have financial struggles; the the Free PBNJ Project can help with that.

The Free PBNJ Project is a way to ease hunger with a meal that is both tasty and dignified as well as cost effective. All that is needed is bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches can be made incredibly quick, distributed incredibly easily, and go a long way in meeting the nutritional needs of an adult or child.

We envision there being PBNJ “hotspots” in great numbers throughout all cities with religious organizations, nonprofit organizations, and self organized individuals doing the work of distributing the sandwiches. We also envision an app being created specifically for this cause to help those in need (or those who simply crave a PBNJ sandwich) find a hotspot. We envision individuals of all walks of life and backgrounds being able to simply walk up to a hotspot and receive a PBNJ sandwich without any questions whatsoever being asked.

Tax revenue need not be raised or allocated for this project; indeed, once plans for this project become concrete and gain momentum, good people everywhere will delight to contribute their time or money (or donate bread and PBNJ themselves). Oh what a wonderful and beautiful thing it is when good people have good things to do and small sacrifices lead to great good!

Utopia. It is the most beautiful, most magnificent, most glorious concept ever conceived by a human being and the highest and noblest earthly aspiration there is. For our part, we define utopia as a community where all enjoy Liberty, Justice, Peace, and Prosperity, and where conditions are ideal for the individual pursuits of happiness.

We at the Betterment of All Humans Foundation would like to declare April 15th Utopia Day for all of our brothers and sisters everywhere around the world, a day where we encourage every man, woman, and child to be happy, promote positivity, and contemplate on progress and possibilities. Also, on this day, we are asking everyone who is able to spend one hour of their time doing something positive for their community or for humanity at large, or to donate one hour’s worth of wages to a charitable cause of their choice.

Even if we are successful in only getting one out of every four adults to participate in Utopia Day (which would amount to nearly two billion individuals), this effort can be said to be wildly successful and perhaps Utopia Day will be the most meaningful, most positive, and most triumphant day in all of recorded history. We ask that you participate in this day out of love. Love necessitates sacrifice. There are many of our brothers and sisters out there who are hungry and impoverished, many who are hurt and broken, many many who have nowhere to turn to for hope and comfort. Please, Brothers & Sisters, dare to love, dare to sacrifice, and please participate in Utopia Day!!
