Ellie girl was acting a little off so she went to the vet today to make sure all was well. She may have a minor infection and her potassium was low, but overall is okay! We will add supplements and start a medication for the infection. She is still in stage 3 kidney disease, but maintaining okay with her daily medication and a special food she loves (Weruva Wx wet!)

We are happy to keep giving this special lady her best, most comfortable ending she deserves (and chicken nuggets time to time😅)

If you want to help spoil Ellie with some of her fav food, it is on the HKL wishlist!

This brings the reminder to make sure to take your senior cats to the vet! They are so good at hiding issues internally and there are many great options these days to help prolong their lives and keep them comfy 💕

Slowly getting ready to introduce our new kitties that we pulled from Friends Of Normie in Cali to Southern Arizona Cat Rescue here ♡

First on that list is Truffles. Hes a gentle senior and has the kindest eyes. He will be seeing our friends at Cat Hospital of Tucson next week for a check up before hes cleared for adoption 😸

Can you believe Evora is still looking for her forever home? This girl is sweet, playful, wild, and crazy in all the best ways 💕

She will do best in an active home with another young cat she can tussle with. She loves to play chase with other cats and tackle each other. Once shes sleepy she will sit in your lap and snuggle all night!
Evora has a funny condition called Eyelid Agenesis. Which means she was born without upper eye lids. Shes very comfortable and might need surgery when shes fully grown to help, but Southern Arizona Cat Rescue is paying for that if needed :)

Come meet her!
