Please join us for our rescheduled Guadalupe Cemetery Cleanup this Saturday. We will be at Guadalupe Cemetery, located at 4649 S. Beck Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Commemorate our loved ones as we prepare for Animam Mikwa. All are welcome to participate, and feel free to bring your own cleaning tools. We will provide necessary tools and supplies, as well as refreshments.

Please join us for our rescheduled Guadalupe Cemetery Cleanup this Saturday. We will be at Guadalupe Cemetery, located at 4649 S. Beck Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Due to the weather, the Yoeme Youth Council will need to reschedule our Animam Mikwame Cemetery clean-up in Guadalupe. Please stay tuned for a rescheduled date. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Animam Mikwame, we light candles to welcome our ancestors home, just as they illuminated our lives. We show our respect with acts, such as providing water and coffee throughout October, but also by cleaning their graves. Join the Yoeme Youth Council on two separate days as we continue this tradition.

The Yoeme Youth Council, in partnership with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Council, is pleased to host two meetings for Youth and Young Adults on Constitutional Reform. Join us for the Tucson meeting on July 31st at the Pascua Yaqui Health and Social Services Family Center, 4567 W Tetakusim Rd. 85746 Tucson, AZ at 6 pm. Then, on August 13th, we will visit the Guadalupe community at the I'tom Hiapsi Tribal building located at 9405 S Avenida del Yaqui, Guadalupe, AZ 85283 at 6 pm.

AIA Sports physicals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. AHCCCS, private insurance, and tribal ID/CIB are accepted, $25 for all others.

The Pascua Yaqui Education Department is honored to collaborate with eleven young leaders ready to make a difference in the Yaqui communities. The Yoeme Youth Council consists of young leaders aged 14-20 who will serve as the voice and representatives of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe's youth.

The following items are needed to complete your application.

Tribal Membership

• Provide a copy of the tribal membership card or letter from the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.

• Submit a 250-word essay detailing why you want to join the Yoeme Youth Council. This essay will provide us with valuable insights into your passion, goals, and vision for contributing to the betterment of our Yaqui community.

• Provide 2 to 3 reference letters that showcase your character, leadership abilities, and dedication. These references will play a significant role in helping us understand your strengths and potential as a council member. The letter may be from your school, a teacher, a counselor, or an administrator. Community like a tribal Supervisor/Coordinator/Manager/Director/ Council Member

• Submit an (unofficial/official) transcript of your current school. College or High School. If transitioning between schools, please provide notification and the last school transcript. GPA should reflect 2.5 or higher.
