Scouts!

We are looking for youth staff for NYLT 2025! We need 12-15 youth on staff this year. The youth staff is responsible for running the course and are vital to its success. We are looking for scouts with enthusiasm, reliability, and strong dedication to Scouting.

Eligibility
Be registered with Scouting America and a unit
Be at least 14 years old
Have held a position of leadership in your unit
Have attended NYLT
Important Dates
Staff Development Dates: Mar 1, Apr 5, May 3, Jun 28
Course Dates: Jul 6-12
The staff development days are full-day training sessions to prepare you for the course. You will need to attend all staff development days and the course. If you have a known conflict, please let me know.

Commissioners-
It is my honor and pleasure to announce that Jim Tarleton was nominated for and will receive the National Eagle Scout Association Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. The award will be presented at the Catalina Council Eagle Recognition Dinner.

Jim has done a lot for Catalina Council, Area, Territory, Scouting America and his community. It is my hope that the entire Commissioner Corps attend this year's dinner so we can a recognize Jim and his outstanding achievements to our youth.
