At Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona we take social isolation and loneliness as seriously as we take food insecurity. Our volunteers provide more than a meal – they provide a social connection to community for those who are unable to leave their homes. 

This , we're reminded that connection is essential for isolated seniors. That's why Meals on Wheels volunteers are more than just a meal delivery; they provide a friendly face, a wellness check, and a moment of connection. For many seniors, that knock on the door may be the only social interaction they have all day.

Delivering meals, analyzing data, and... breathing new life into old furniture? Meet Sue Wells, one of our incredibly talented volunteers! 🎨🚗📊

Sue is a powerhouse who drives multiple delivery routes, lends her expertise as our volunteer strategist/data analyst, and helps spread our mission by serving on the ambassador team. But she also brings a beautiful creative touch to our organization—she completely revamps donated chairs! You can see her sitting proudly on one of her stunning creations!

We love all our volunteers, and Sue is a wonderful reminder of the diverse talents that keep our wheels turning.
