Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona has been delivering meals in Tucson, Green Valley, and Sahuarita since 1970.

Our incredible team of over 200 volunteers delivers over 80,000 meals every year! Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona supports the health, dignity, and independence of elderly and disabled adults by providing fresh, home-delivered meals and daily contact with a caring volunteer. All our meals are prepared in healthcare facilities to meet our clients individual nutritional needs. We deliver two meals a day, Monday through Friday.

Before the holiday season gets busy, take a little time to check in with the older adults in your life. Pay attention to the little changes, like difficulty preparing meals, getting groceries, or spending more time alone. They can tell you a lot.

A simple check-in can make a meaningful difference. Let’s keep looking out for one another this fall.

Stronger together starts with getting to know one another.

Over the summer, Natalie Jayroe and members of the Community Food Bank Leadership Team joined Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona Board Members, L’Don Sawyer, and volunteers for a meet-and-greet to share more about the partnership and what’s ahead.

CFB’s Operations Team also had the opportunity to experience Mobile Meals firsthand by taking on a delivery route this summer. Volunteer Ambassador Tyna joined CFB Staff Member Kara along the way, giving the team a closer look at the care and connection behind every delivery.

Mobile Meals staff also toured Caridad Kitchen and met the incredible people behind the work there, bringing both teams together to learn, connect, and build relationships.

These moments are a great reminder that while this partnership is creating something new, it’s being built on the people, programs, and community connections that already make both organizations so special.

We’re excited for what’s ahead as we continue moving forward together.
