Tucson’s budget is tight. City Hall’s paychecks aren’t.

Last night the mayor and council voted 5–2 to bump City Manager Timothy Thomure to $375,000. That’s roughly $55,000–$60,000 more. Cunningham and Schubert were the only no votes.

Our mayor and council are already the highest paid in Arizona. $120,750 for the mayor. $96,600 for each council member. Voters passed that raise in 2023 by 289 votes.

Great news!

Ryker Lee has been located and is safe.

Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies located the 15-year-old just before 1:00 p.m., about three miles away from his home.

A tip from a community member led deputies to Lee's location.

Thank you to our law enforcement partners and the community for their assistance with this case.
