This week, we proudly recognize Kayla Batchelor, DO as our Frontline Hero of the Week! 🩺💙

Dr. Batchelor earned her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Georgia South Family Medicine Residency Program in Moultrie, Georgia. A board-certified family physician, she has been caring for patients since completing her training and has a special interest in women’s health and in-office procedures.

Today, she serves as Associate Program Director and faculty physician with Georgia South Family Medicine at Colquitt Regional Health System, where she is dedicated to patient care, resident education, and advancing family medicine in Georgia.

We’re proud to spotlight Dr. Berrien Waters, MD, for his leadership and dedication to advancing family medicine across Georgia! 🎉

Dr. Waters earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Columbus Regional Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He currently cares for patients at Medical Center, LLP in Dublin, Georgia.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Waters serves as GAFP’s District 8 Director, where he continues to support physicians, advocate for family medicine, and strengthen healthier communities across Georgia. 👏💙
