WOW!! We had an incredible time at PARTY ANIMALS last weekend! We raised $3,096 thanks to our amazing audience. That’s about 150 nights of boarding for the animals in our care!

We are already looking forward to being back in the beautiful Out Front Theatre Company for Party Animals 2 next summer! Thank you to the Out Front team for welcoming us into the space and helping this show run as smoothly as it did.

A huge thank you to all our performers who brought such an amazing energy to this show, you truly brought the (dog) house down 💜 we couldn’t have done this without you!

And I final thank you to all our lovely supporters! We hope you all enjoyed this show and we will see you next year for even more animal themes silliness 🐶🐓🐱🦥🐰🦩

Will we see you this Saturday at our first-ever PARTY ANIMALS - A Bark-lesque and Ca-purr-et Show?! The show will feature 13 animal-themed burlesque and cabaret acts, with ALL entry and tip proceeds benefiting Ahimsa House.

We are SO grateful to for Lisamarie Bristol Gwinnett Solicitor General's office for once again hosting a donation drive for Ahimsa House! Last year's drive was a huge success and replenished so many of our much-needed supplies!

They're going even bigger this year by partnering with local Fire, Police, and Animal Welfare agencies to expand their community's impact.

Donation collection boxes are available through July 31 at:

It's a sad day at Ahimsa House! Today is our last day with our Community Services Coordinator, Oné, before she heads off on her next adventure!!

If you’ve met Oné at an outreach event, conference, meeting, or the Celebration, chances are she left you with the biggest smile! Oné first joined our team in 2019 as a Community Outreach Intern, and we were thrilled when she joined the staff full-time in 2022 to serve as our Community Services Advocate. She has been a passionate, dedicated, and effective advocate for human and animal survivors AND a spectacular representative of Ahimsa House in the community. She brings so much light to work that is often challenging and we will miss her presence deeply!

However, we are thrilled that Oné gets to return home to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she’ll finish graduate school and put her compassion and talent to work serving the community in which she grew up.

To our supporters, Oné says: “Thank you all for being a part of the wonderful memories that I have made in Atlanta. Ahimsa House will always have a special place in my heart!”

Will we see you tonight at Glover Park Brewery?! Friendly Neighborhood Bingo Boy is hosting Bingo from 7-9 PM and bingo card purchases benefit Ahimsa House! The brewery will be open from 4-10 PM and 10% of taproom sales will also go to Ahimsa House! We can't wait to see you there!!!
