Tucker Civic Association Tucker Civic Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization of residents and business owners committed to a better quality of life in Tucker, Georgia.

Tucker Civic Association (TCA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit, volunteer organization of residents and business owners located in Tucker, Georgia. The purpose of TCA is to promote the health, safety and welfare of Tucker Community residents by:

*preserving the small town atmosphere and enhancing the sense of community within Tucker;

*developing, maintaining and promoting a strategic plan for the bett

erment of the community;

*maintaining the integrity of the residential areas and supporting positive improvements and enhancements to assist the residents with code compliance, and informing residents of the status of overlay and strategic plans;
assisting in the improvement of existing commercial areas and encouraging a vibrant local economy;

*monitoring planning, land use, zoning, code enforcement, parks and green space, public safety, community building and any other issues that might arise affecting Tucker; informing and educating community members about such issues so that they can make informed decisions and take appropriate action to protect their rights and interests;

*communicating with the DeKalb County Commission, State of Georgia, Atlanta Regional Commission, Gwinnett County and other relevant organizations and governing bodies on behalf of the Tucker Community regarding such issues.

REMINDER: Henderson Park Master Plan Open House, tomorrow, Friday, June 5, 10 am - 4 pm, and Saturday, June 6, 10 am - 2 pm - both gatherings at City Hall.

Get ready for our big, two day Open House! Friday, June 5, Cooper Carry - The Center for Connective Architecture will draw and illustrate ideas you've shared with us about the Henderson Park Master Plan. Residents may drop by during the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to ask questions, observe the design process, review imagery and share your feedback.

At the end of June 5, Cooper Carry will pin up the drawings and exhibits for residents to see and meet with the design team Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall.

Thanks to Rough Draft Atlanta for covering our candidate forum last evening and to all those who came out and heard from the five contenders! Our District 4 area is blessed with caring, knowledgeable, and talented candidates as each of these folks demonstrated in our forum.
Advance voting is going on now through next Friday, May 15, including this Saturday and Sunday - election day is Tuesday, May 19, and this election will determine our new District 4 school board member.
