Today, across our campuses, we did more than talk about friendship. We practiced it. As we continue our Friends series, we’re learning that real friendship is not something we stumble into. It is something we build with prayer, purpose, presence, and intentionality.

This week’s action step:
Choose one person and make the first move to build a real friendship. Send the text. Ask the question. Invite them to coffee, lunch, or your table. Pray for them by name.

One intentional step could become the beginning of real friendship.

How will you choose to be a better friend?? // In our sermon series on Friendship, we’ve talked about what makes a real friend, what Gods design is for Friendship, and how to make a friend. We can’t expect to have great friends without being a great friend ourselves.

So, again, how will you choose to be a better friend?

Real friends are chosen on purpose, not collected by accident. The people closest to you are shaping your faith, your future, and your fruit. So don’t just stumble into friendship. Pray about it. Pay attention. Choose people who strengthen your faith, call you higher, and help you become more like Jesus.
