These Rio Rico High school students attended The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp in the Southwest region. An intensive, free leadership training for high school students. The program builds skills through workshops, team building, and mentorship for young leaders. These young ladies talked about making new friends from all over SW Arizona - this led to collaborating, learning to work as a team, stepping outside their comfort zone - all WITHOUT their phones for 4 days. This unforgettable experience prepared them for future leadership roles.
