Bill Swisher, one of our 2026 Community Service Award winners, passed away on Saturday. Our condolences to his family. He was the vision, funding, and workhorse behind the historical marker placed last year in memory of the 1938 baseball game between the NY Giants and the Truxton Giants that brought almost 8000 spectators to Truxton and then funded the John J McGraw memorial statue.
