Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Fall Sunset Market & Bar at the Mary Heaton Vorse House. From raising a glass to filling your baskets, your enthusiasm made for a wonderful evening of community, connection, and fall harvest 🍅🌻🍷

A huge thank you to Provincetown Arts Society for their generosity and partnership, and to the farmers, fishermen, vendors, chefs, volunteers, and staff who helped bring the evening to life.

We have so much gratitude for everyone who attended and supported Sustainable CAPE; your generosity helps make our work possible as we build a stronger, more equitable local food system. We loved gathering with you and celebrating the incredible farmers, fishermen, makers, and community members that keep Cape Cod growing and thriving! 💛

There’s still plenty to be done in the Children’s Community Garden this fall, and we want your help!

We meet every Tuesday after school from 3:30-4:30 at the Truro Public Library.

All children are welcome, and their caretakers are invited to join as well! We also have wonderful volunteers who help us if you’re looking for another way to get involved. We hope to see you there!🧑‍🌾🐛💚🍅🥔

At a recent Provincetown Farmers’ Market our Grow-a-Row for Neighbors program received over 100 lbs of donated produce thanks to CBI Farm, Allen Farms, and Down Home Farm. Through Grow-a-Row, farmers can donate remaining produce that would otherwise go bad, and YOU can donate excess from your home garden🍅🫵

After the market, the fresh, local produce is brought to the local food pantry where neighbors in need can pick it up at no cost. Don’t have a garden at home but still want to participate? Leave a cash donation with the team and they will use it to purchase produce from our farmers, or pick out your own veggies and fruits and leave them in the donation bin! 🍎🥬🫜💚

This morning’s Ptown Farmers’ Market was canceled (9/26) due to the nor’easter, but farmers have harvested and are ready to sell you their fresh-picked produce & flowers. Check out 8 Truro Center Road this weekend and say hello to Digree while you shop!

Due to the nor’easter bringing forecasted 50 mph winds, tomorrow’s (9/26) Provincetown Farmers’ Market has been canceled in order to prioritize the safety of our vendors, customers, and community.

We will miss seeing you, but you can still support local vendors this weekend when it's safe to venture out at:
🌼 Orleans Farmers' Market Sat from 9–12 (indoors at 5 Namskaket Rd)
🌼 Down Home Farm Stand (8 Truro Center Rd)

Our wonderful Food is Medicine team made 56 deliveries of medically tailored, fresh, local produce and proteins to participating MassHealth members across the Cape this morning! Along with biweekly food deliveries, participants receive recipes, nutrition support, education, and information about our farmers' market food access programs. Delivery days always bring big smiles!🥕🥬🧀🥩
