I-35 Education Foundation The Interstate 35 Education Foundation was created in 2019 to support the enhancement of educational opportunities for our students and staff.

It is the intent of the Foundation to raise money and allocate donations for Interstate 35 Community Schools.

2026 Roadrunner Gala photo dump... looking through photos after the event is always joyful!🥰

While it's not everyone's cup of tea, it is so fun to see everyone dressed up for a night out in the dead of winter. In fact, that's one of the reasons we, as a board, created the event for our community - a reason to get dressed up and something to look forward to as we trudge through winter collectively.❄️😅 Feel free to tag your friends!

We had nine alumni classes honored at the 4th Annual Roadrunner Gala this year!💙 This is a mini-fundraising campaign that we've started to do to help offset the costs of florals and linens at the event. For every $100 that a class raises, they will be "honored" at the gala with a class photo included in a floral arrangement.

Here are the classes we honored this year: 1973 (in memory of Dennis Beeler), 1974, 1975, 1981, 1990, 1996, 2007, 2009, 2011.

If you are interested in honoring your class for the 2027 gala, please follow our page and keep an eye out for that opportunity! Please tag classmates and/or class pages on Facebook. We'd love to grow the alumni awareness of the I-35 Education Foundation!

It's hard to believe it's already been one week since the Roadrunner Gala!🤩 The dust has settled a bit, and we wanted to take a moment to thank (and showcase) the more behind-the-scenes vendors who are often overlooked. On behalf of the I-35 Education Foundation board members, we are extremely proud to announce that we raised over $53,000 in our 2026 Roadrunner Gala campaign!🥳👏

❤️🤍💙

The night of the event, we raised over $37,000 (a special shoutout to Wh**ey Exteriors and Mid Iowa Contracting LLC for their combined $10,000 match of our live auction!) That, combined with ticket sales and sponsorship dollars, above and beyond expenses, pushed our fundraising efforts over $53,000! This is very exciting for us, and more so, for the I-35 CSD that we serve.

It takes many, many volunteer hours to pull this campaign off, and when we see the fruits of our labor show up in community support at the Roadrunner Gala, it is very rewarding. We cannot thank all of our supporters enough.🙏 You continue to show up "Roadrunner Strong" and we are so grateful! We can't wait to put these funds to work for the teachers and students at I-35!

❤️ We want to take a moment to thank the Roadrunner Community for their support of the Roadrunner Gala this year! As a third year event, we could not be more thrilled with the growth of this event and continued support of our student families, alumni, local businesses, and community supporters.

If you haven't seen the reel/video we shared last week - we raised over $57,000 (🎉) in this year's Roadrunner Gala campaign! This is HUGE; we couldn't have done it without you, Roadrunner Country!
