We are excited to bring 7W a Christmas Eve celebration today. 7W is where Gigi received her treatment inpatient. While we all love the nurses and doctors, there’s no place like home for Christmas - so we are bringing a little bit of “home” to them tonight.

It’s always a beautiful feeling to know there are good people in the world. After cancer treatment, our whole family needed time to process & decompress. Liana went through A LOT as the big sister through Gigi’s treatment. At the age of 3, she began therapy to process life and what was happening. She will forever be Gigi’s best medicine. On Liana’s 5th birthday, Valerie participated in Icing Smiles, Inc., a nonprofit that creates and donates special cakes to families who have gone through situations such as Gigi’s. We are thankful for this generous cake & it was even better to see Liana’s face glow!

As I always preach, it doesn’t matter if you contribute to our mission or someone else’s, as long as you believe in something. ❤️

Two years ago, Gigi underwent surgery to get her port in, and had her first dose of chemo. We are thankful for chemotherapy and all it’s helped with!

Today, Gigi celebrated her star alumni ceremony with Make a Wish, which is a near and dear organization to our hearts. ❤️

For the month of March, Jersey Mikes is giving back to Make a Wish!! You can show your support by buying a sandwich & rounding up!

We love someone rare!! It’s estimated that 4% of people have a rare disease. Gigi is 1 in 1,000,000 with her (remission in) Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, a rare blood cancer. Today we celebrate Rare Disease Day by showing our stripes and our fun t-shirts!

Of course, we’re singing chicken songs this AM to get the party started. We have a fun crew over here!
