🎓👏Congratulations to all the amazing seniors on their last day at RCA! 🎓👏

One of our main goals as a parent organization is to raise money in order to fund scholarships given to selected seniors presented on the last day of RCA. We successfully did just that and were able to donate over $4,000 to those students this year!!!

Though we are sad this school year has come to an end, we cannot be any prouder of all the accomplishments RCA and its students achieved this year!!!

Don't miss our last performance of the year.

RCAs radio plays class will share a performance over the airwaves (of your computer) tonight at 7:00. A collaboration of several departments, you will feel like the old days of radio. Using sound effects, music and dramatic voicings, our students will share their work from the entire semester.

Tomorrow night, they will perform the same show but it will be done live! You may reserve a seat to watch HOW they did the show by calling us at 203.365.8930 between 9 and 4 tomorrow. It will be 7:00 in the black box theatre.

With only a couple weeks left of school, RCA still has some opportunities to check out all the talented students in their respective departments perform and/or demonstrate all they’ve learned this year.

Starting TONIGHT , Wednesday May 17th as well as tomorrow, May 18th, at 7:00, the DANCE department will dazzle you with pieces from every discipline - ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop.

Tickets are $5 for all seats and will be available at the door.

Then, On Friday May 19th at 7:30, we will roll out the red CREATIVE MEDIA majors. They will be sharing their film creations from the entire year including classroom projects and short films.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, no charge for Creative Media majors. All tickets will be sold at the door.

Last, but certainly not least, one of RCAs interesting elective classes is RADIO THEATRE - a class that examines the old time radio plays popular in the days before television. Sound effects, dramatic music and characters portrayed only through the voice all come together to provide some wonderful entertainment. Students will broadcast live on Monday, May 22 with no live audience in attendance.

Then on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:00, the public is invited to come in and watch how they made it all happen.

Seating will be limited and tickets may be reserved by calling 203.365.8930.
