Delta House is celebrating its SECOND birthday! 🥳💙
Over the last 24 months, Delta House has become so much more than a building.
It has become a place where families find support, children find comfort, parents find a little breathing room, and our community comes together to remind people that they are not alone.
In just two years, we have:
🏠 Held family time approximately 4–5 days every week
�🛏️ Provided 100+ beds to families in need
�🛒 Offered grocery assistance
�💡 Provided utility assistance
�🏡 Helped families with housing assistance
�🎂 Hosted birthday celebrations
�💙 Celebrated and appreciated our incredible staff
�🤝 Participated in community outreach events
�🧸 Organized 3 child abuse awareness events
�🎄 Provided Christmas gifts for more than 800 children
But those are just the numbers.
The real story is in the people behind them.
It’s the child who gets to see their parent during family time.
It’s the family who has a warm bed when they didn't know where they would sleep.
It’s the parent who receives groceries, help with a utility bill, or assistance finding housing when life feels impossible.
It’s the child whose birthday was celebrated when someone needed to remind them that they matter.
It’s the 800+ children who woke up on Christmas morning knowing that someone cared enough to make sure they had something waiting for them.
And it’s every family who walked through our doors carrying fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak—and walked back out knowing they had a village standing beside them.
Two years. Thousands of moments. Countless families. And more lives touched than we could ever put into a statistic. 💙
Delta House may be celebrating its second birthday, but the greatest gift has been getting to be part of the stories, struggles, victories, and second chances that happen within these walls.
