The Truesdale Police Department is asking for your support for the Malin family.

Sergeant Josh Malin has served our community since 2015, including many years with the City of Truesdale, and currently serves Warren County as a K9 handler with his partner, Melvin.

Josh’s wife, Amanda, a 39-year-old mother of two young children, was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and is undergoing aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation. While continuing to serve our community, Josh is supporting his family through an incredibly difficult time.

Donations will help ease the financial burden so Amanda can focus on healing and Josh can focus on his family. A donation box is also available inside Truesdale City Hall.

Another absolutely amazing day to help out people in our Community. Thanks to Chic Lumber Design Center for donating toys and thanks to Skyline Diesel & Towing for delivering and donating hams. Families still in need of a few toys for their children age 18m-12yo , Chic Lumber Design Center has donated a large amount of toys that we wrapped this past weekend. If you’re in need of some Christmas gifts, we will be at the Truesdale City Hall tomorrow Dec. 23rd from noon-2pm you may come by and grab a few items. It will be on a first come first served basis. We will allow you to grab a couple of things per child. Please be courteous and take only what you need. Again items are limited. We will also have 1300 hams to give away courtesy of Skyline Trucking.

The Truesdale, Warrenton, and Wright City Police Departments would like to extend a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers and supporters who helped make this year’s Shop with a Cop program a tremendous success this past Saturday.

We would especially like to thank Mayor Jerry Cannon of Truesdale and Michelle Heiliger - Your Wright City Mayor for their continued support, along with the following alderpersons: Donald Andrews (Wright City), Kari Hartley (Truesdale), Joseph Brooks (Truesdale), and Mike Thomas (Truesdale).

A sincere thank you to our Truesdale City Staff, Elise Morris, and our amazing Truesdale City Clerk, Elsa Fernandez-Smith, for their hard work and dedication behind the scenes.

We are also grateful for the support of Clarkson Construction Company, Warren County Pathfinders, Katie Pape and her daughter with 1776 Armory Warrenton MO, Warren County Ambulance District, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Jonesburg Police Department. The staff of Rebecca Boone, Dr. Carra, Beth Martin and of course our amazing Walmart Warrenton - Warren County Ctr and their amazing staff, they absolutely go all out for our kids every year.

What an incredible day! ❤️ Today was the annual Shop with a Cop event hosted by the Truesdale, Warrenton, and Wright City Police Departments—and it’s hands down our absolute FAVORITE Event.

The energy, the smiles, the pure joy—it was nothing short of magical. A massive shoutout to the Warrenton Walmart for being absolutely AMAZING! They went above and beyond setting everything up perfectly, creating the ideal space for this special day.
Thanks to their unbelievable donations, our incredibly generous donors, and the most outstanding volunteers who gave their time and hearts, we brought Christmas cheer to 55 amazing kids who truly deserved it. Watching those little faces light up as they picked out gifts, spent time with our officers, and felt the love from our community… there’s just nothing like it.
The turnout today was PHENOMENAL—bigger and better than ever! You all showed up in such a huge way, and because of YOUR kindness and support, Christmas is going to be extra special for these 55 children and their families.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. To the Warrenton Walmart team, every donor, every volunteer, every officer, and everyone who helped—this day wouldn’t happen without you. You are the real heroes making holidays brighter and reminding our kids that they are seen, cared for, and loved.
