We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Back Mountain community for your incredible generosity this holiday season. In just the past four weeks, nearly 7,000 pounds of food have been donated to our pantry.

Seeing our shelves filled, especially during such challenging times for many of our pantry families, means more than we can express. With close to 200 families relying on our services, we work hard to ensure everyone leaves with a variety of foods that truly make a difference.

Your generosity continues to make a real and meaningful impact for our neighbors.

If you’re in need of a holiday meal, this event is taking place tonight.

We are so excited to share the love tomorrow at Wilkes-Barre Area High School.

Our friends Selingo Guagliardo, LLC are sponsoring a night of delicious holiday meals from Circles on the Square Wilkes-Barre Town Tavern Restaurant and Bar Marianacci's Restaurant/Pa. and Philly's Phinest.

We'll start at 5 PM. First come, first served, no questions asked. Please stop by, say hello, and take home a delicious holiday meal.

Just a reminder that we will be closed next Thursday and Friday. If you’re in need of food please call us by 11:30am this Thursday (11/20) to pick up food on Friday (11/21).

Our Thanksgiving Meal Distribution will take place on Tuesday (11/25) from 9:30am-12:00pm. This event is only for families who preregistered.

Over 2,000 pounds of food were distributed to Back Mountain families today, our biggest day yet! We’re so grateful to our incredible volunteers for their dedication, to our clients for their patience, and to our generous donors whose continued support makes it all possible. 🫶

If you’re in need of assistance or would like to make a donation, our office is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please note that food distribution takes place on Fridays only.
