A Village Life

A Village Life Giving a "Hand Up" to African Women so they have the opportunity to provide for themselves and their family's future.

A Village Life was founded to help people in developing nations earn more income. Through a very simple economic design we are able to help people provide for themselves and their families future. We also want to maintain the traditions and belief of the people and we promise to value and respect their culture, how ever different from our own it may be.

Due to the generous support from the Women as Change Makers conference we sold 2700 EL. All 2700 was sent this morning to the women in the manzani market. 1500 will be brought to the boys orphanage to help keep the boys in school! The other 1200 is for the women to invest in their business and to purchase chickens for Christmas dinner! $1 truly makes a difference! Thank you all for you support!!!

Due to the misuse of funds by the Swazi King, the women we work with in Swaziland are going to have an even more difficult time selling their jewlery. This will severely impact their quality of life and their standard of living.

As of January 1, 2015, Swaziland will no longer be eligible for preferential trade benefits under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), U.S. legislation enacted in 2000 that allows duty-free access to certain U.S. markets, contingent on upholding various human rights and labor practice standards.
