Welcome to HSTT Intakes!

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter and humane education programs.

Rescue/Relinquishment requests are reviewed Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 4pm. We strive to respond to all requests within 2 business days. If you are interested in transferring an animal to our shelter or surrendering your pet you can message us through this page or email [email protected].

Please remember that we work very hard to help as many animals as possible. However, we are a small shelter with limited space and not all pets are a good fit for our adoption program.
