In 1986, local public education funding took a hit. A few concerned community members refused to sit back.

They raised $30,000 for TTUSD and planted the seeds for what would become the Excellence in Education Foundation.

Forty years later, that grassroots effort has grown into more than $6.8 million invested in our local schools. 🙌🏽

A lot has changed in 40 years. The belief that this community can create more opportunities for students? Not one bit.
