Building local wildfire and prescribed fire capacity — one community at a time.

The Good Fire Training Network, a program of the Healthy Forest Alliance Foundation, in partnership with the Iowa Hill Prescribed Burn Association, is offering FREE S-130 Firefighter Skills Days for residents of Amador, El Dorado, Placer, and Nevada Counties.

These hands-on field days are designed to help community members complete the practical skills portion of S-130 Firefighter Training and build the next generation of local prescribed fire and wildfire response capacity within emerging Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs).
