Hello HSTT community!

We’re collecting new or gently used leashes for our shelter dogs! Every leash helps us keep our pups safe and ready for walks, adventures, and their journey to finding forever homes.

We’re so grateful for all the love, generosity, and effort you put into supporting our animals. Thank you for always showing up for our shelter pets and helping us give them the care they deserve!

Happy Tails: Rosita

Life in her new home is off to a wonderful (and slightly mischievous!) start! Rosita is settling in beautifully, getting along with the resident cats, and enjoying daily long walks and adventures around Truckee.

She’s already made herself at home…perhaps a little too comfortably! Let’s just say a sweet potato pie, pan dulce, and a box of muffins have all fallen victim to her curiosity.

Beyond her funny antics, she’s showing everyone what a sweetheart she is. She loves meeting new people, leaning in for affection, and soaking up all the love her new life has to offer.

Her adopter says it best: “Overall though, she’s doing great, I love her and appreciate her so much.”

We couldn’t ask for a happier tail! Here’s to many more walks, adventures, snuggles, and sweet memories together! Happy tails, sweet girl!
