Albany! Join us this Monday evening as the City of Albany collaborates with Lionheart on the Green and Lost & Found Bar & Kitchen to host a Game 3 Watch Party in Colonie Park on a huge outdoor screen, provided by LoveAlbany! This event is free to attend and suitable for 21+. Individuals under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-Party kicks off at 7pm with tip-off scheduled for 8:30pm. We hope to see you there on this exciting occasion for New York!

Times Union NIMBYism is a reductive description of legitimate concerns about traffic patterns and safety, which have yet to be examined as required by GML. The framework of this plan has existed since 2023, when it was negotiated with Greyhound and Tesla directly by the former South End Grocery.
Albany County held these contracts in anticipation of state funding that could be used as leverage against community concerns. We are watching this strategic leveling play out real time.
The bus station is a good IDEA. The practical application and development of such is precarious.
Municipal approvals for this project at the City and County level can, in fact, be stalled through community led litigation for an injunction based on insufficient environmental and traffic examinations.

The Advance Albany County Alliance wants to convert an empty former McDonald’s into a station for Greyhound and Trailways riders.

🏞️ The Mohawk River is one of the 46th District's greatest natural assets, defining communities up and down its shores for generations.

Unfortunately, recent problems such as aquatic invasive species, extreme flooding events, and more have put the Mohawk River Basin at risk, including those in our communities who rely on it for fishing, work, and more.

After working with scientists and stakeholders, the Senate passed my legislation to establish a Mohawk River Basin Management Program and Mohawk River Basin District to better protect the waterway we all know and cherish.
