Late May marks an important moment in the monarch migration season 🦋

As monarchs continue their northward journey, the first generations are now establishing across breeding grounds, relying heavily on healthy milkweed and native habitat to lay eggs and support caterpillar development. Every patch of habitat plays a role in sustaining this next wave of life.

Across participating sites, native plant areas are actively supporting this seasonal cycle—providing food, shelter, and continuity for one of nature’s most remarkable migrations.

As we head into early summer, habitat quality and availability matter more than ever. 🌱
