Are you a part of the Expo? Played for the Expo? Supported the Expo? Curious about the Expo? Are you a local entrepreneur? Difference maker? Coach? Parent? Like being involved in your community?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then we would love to see you at our first "Summer Social" tomorrow night in Troy at Uncle Sam Lanes!

Join us for a night of fun, food, music, and camaraderie as we get out of the heat, away from the field, and roll some strikes instead of throw them! It will be a great night of reconnections and new connections, and we are excited to have all of our supporters and participants together for the first time.

See you tomorrow night starting at 6pm. Free admission, all ages!

We recently spoke to a parent who has a son playing travel baseball and even though he was getting plenty of playing time and had multiple games per week, they were frustrated that they were not seeing their son get better and improve over the course of the season. "They never practice....it's all about the games, and when they do practice, it's the same old batting practice while everyone else just stands around waiting for the ball to be hit to them."

This is a common thing that we hear from parents and players alike, and this is one of the reasons why we have constructed our "Instructional Baseball & Practice" sessions each week, giving players the opportunity to learn using the college and professional practice model, and hearing from coaches and mentors who have done it at the highest levels.

As we have said before, regardless of where you are from or who you play for, if you love baseball and have aspirations to improve and reach your goals on the field, you should join us.

We hope to see you tonight in Green Island for our next session!

We are excited to host our practice tonight (6/11) at Knickerbocker Field in Lansingburgh (next to LHS) starting at 6pm.

We will continue building on some fundamentals that we have worked on the past two weeks, while also giving players a ton of opportunities to make plays and have some fun....all on one of the most historic fields in the northeast!

Coach Anthony and Coach Eli will be directing the action and have a lot of great material to share with you all, so be sure to come ready to play!

See you all soon, have a great day, and "Go Expos!"

Reminder: the Expo is FREE to attend. Email us at [email protected] with any questions and to be added to our team list!

Today's "Expo of the Day" Alan Keating from Watervliet received a gift card to Stewart's Shops courtesy of Roof Monster and owner Matt Smith who was in attendance today to share some advice and words of encouragement for our student athletes.

The Expo is more than baseball. It uses the game as a platform to teach some of life's most important lessons and develop skills that will translate in the classroom, at work, at home, and beyond!

We are excited to launch our 8th year of summer programming starting tomorrow night Monday, June 2nd as we host Instructional Baseball, Practice, and Exhibition Games every week for ages 13 & up.....free of charge!

The Troy Baseball Expo is a nonprofit organization that fundraises to provide free baseball instruction, academic advising, and workforce development to student athletes throughout the Captial Region. Founded by MLB player Eric Beaulac and college baseball coach Ryan Parker in 2017, our goal is to bring exposure to players and families on the skills and qualities that will help them be successful on the field, in the classroom, in a job, or at home.

Our summer program is the centerpiece of our efforts, and our "Instructs League" is meant to give players a chance to receive the highest form of instruction and coaching in real time while the game and situations are unfolding. Players will get live at bats and have a chance to play numerous positions on the field, all under the supervision of our instructors and field staff. There will be daily challenges, competitions, and awards meant to improve skills and recognize the efforts of each participant. We welcome players of all talent levels, whether beginner or all star....if you love baseball, this is the program for you!

Additionally, our summer program will include batting practice sessions, pitching lessons, physical training, and guest speakers from our community who want to join us in giving student athletes a countless number of opportunities to learn and get better. All players and families will be required to sign our Expo code of conduct contract and insurance waiver, and there is no cost for participating. We will send weekly updates thru this email, so stay tuned for more announcements about our summer schedule!

We hope to see you at our first meeting and practice tomorrow night, June 2nd, starting at 6pm at Veterans Field in Green Island. Players are responsible for their own cleats and glove while the Expo will have hats available for purchase. Please be in touch with any questions and help us spread the word to other families who may be interested....email us to be added to our team list!

Thank you again and we are looking forward to a great summer ahead. Play ball and "Go Expos!"

JUST ANNOUNCED: The Troy Baseball Expo, entering its seventh year of programming, is hosting an instructional baseball league and exhibition games for players ages 13-15 during the summer of 2024....free of charge!

The Expo, co-founded by Eric Beaulac and Ryan Parker, fundraises to provide free baseball instruction, academic advising, workforce development, and community service to student-athletes in Troy and throughout the Capital District.

Beaulac, a Troy native and former MLB player says, "We are excited to give access to the next generation of student-athletes in our community as we begin our seventh summer season as an organization. I'm excited to get going on and off the field!"

This summer's program is the Expo's first official venture with players under the age of 15, and will include practice, games, and special events aimed at enhancing the personal knowledge and experiences of all participants, such as proper strength training, financial literacy, and professional networking.

Parker, currently a college pitching coach and associate director of admissions at Russell Sage College added, "Our personalized and holistic approach to coaching has allowed us to make an immediate impact using baseball as a tool for teaching valuable life lessons, and we can't wait to meet the newest members of our team."

The Expo will have its first official meeting and workout to follow on Monday, May 27th at 6pm in Green Island at Veterans Field. Please email the Expo at [email protected] to be added to our team email list and to begin receiving updates!
