Hello, neighbors!

Unfortunately, now that I've finally been able to unpack my event bag from this year's event, I've discovered some personal items went missing from our Volunteer HQ on the stage.

If you happened to bring home a nearly fully stocked First Aid kit, or the charging station that was set up at the top of the stage stairs, kindly return those items to me. They are my personal supplies that I provide as a courtesy to our amazing volunteer crew. I'd really love not to have to spend the money to replace them since I recently lost my job.

Much appreciated! (Images of same bag and USB hub that are missing, cables are example image but there were at least 2 of each USB C and Lightning cables)

Give. Ask. Gratitude. These pillars of the Buy Nothing Project are embodied as the Troy Buy Nothing communities join forces for the 4th annual City-wide giving event!

Bring items you wish to give or come help items find their new home. Everything is FREE, including items and admission! Please email [email protected] to volunteer or to request a list of accepted items.

Buy Nothing Give takes place on Saturday, July 18 from 10:30 am–2 pm at Troy Community Center. All ages. FREE, no registration required.

🎉🚨🎉 🎉🚨🎉

We are excited to announce we have locked in the date for our 4th annual Buy Nothing Give Event!!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 18th at the Troy Community Center!!! We're still working out the exact event times so stay tuned as details are finalized.

There will be plenty of volunteers needed the day before and day of, so if you are able to block the dates now in order to be available to help out, it is much appreciated!!

We are also still hoping to find a nonprofit (or multiple nonprofits) who are able and willing to come directly to the Community Center at the end of the event to pick up any remaining items, saving me a lot of extra work wrapping up the event in the weeks following... so if you have any contacts please message us!
