Coaches Team International

Coaches Team International Coaches Team International is a non-profit group using basketball and other sports to break down barriers and help develop future players and coaches.

Coaches Team International is a sports organization based in Korea, China and the Unites States, providing players, coaches and referees for a variety of sporting events and camps in Asia and beyond. We also mentor and train young English speaking players in Asia and help them achieve their goal of playing at the college level and beyond. CTI was created in Seoul, South Korea as a club team in 200

7. The team was made up of young, American basketball coaches and a mix of other basketball players who wished to combine their knowledge of the game with their desire to play. Some of the objectives were to provide better competition for student-athletes who had limited opportunities to develop while living overseas and to further develop athletes who had a desire to play in college or beyond. We have grown rapidly since then, conducting basketball events in China, North Korea, South Korea, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the USA. Soon we will be relaunching the Seoul International Basketball League (SIBL), a league for English speakers in South Korea that was started in 2007. Stay tuned!
