The Rotary Club of Piqua was honored to have Piqua native, Phil Wisecup, Vice Admiral U.S. Navy (Retired) as our speaker last week!

He shared many “sea stories” from his 36 year career including serving at the Director of the White House Situation Room, President of the U.S. Naval War College, and Inspector General of the Navy before retiring from active duty in 2013.

This is what makes Piqua a great small-town community. Proverbs 3:27 instructs us "do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act".

Today, Piqua Rotary #135, which is part of Rotary District 6670, was privileged to take a turn, and step up to "create lasting impact". When we place service above self, it is a humbling experience because it reminds us we are not the center of the universe and such acts create personal growth and gratitude.

If you are interested in joining Rotary and creating more instances of lasting impact, let us know. We'd love to host you at a future meeting. Melissa Leingang, Michael P. Yannucci, Dwayne-Merrianne Thompson, Glenna Fulks
