With sincere gratitude and appreciation The Key thanks Abigail Beck for taking senior photos of our residents again this year!

đź“·Having the opportunity to be photographed, celebrated, and pampered--acknowledging how amazing high school graduation feels for a young person who has overcome so many obstacles to get to this moment--is a priceless gift.

đź“·Holding their senior photos in their hands and having the opportunity to see themselves the way their community sees them, well ... that's simply too difficult to properly capture.

The Key and our volunteer coordinator extraordinaire Lacy Gambill invite our current and prospective volunteers to an evening of connection, purpose, and mission-inspired service.

We want to celebrate our volunteers and invite others who may be curious about The Key, our mission, and opportunities to serve and learn more about our story, which is the story of how one community came together so that at-risk and homeless youth couldd have a safe, loving place to call home.

We hope to see you there!

Drum roll please ... Rhythm 4 Relief and its weekend Birthday Bash raised more than $500 for The Key and our mission to end youth homelessness in Lincoln County!

Thank you to Nick Dougherty, Justus Maddock and all who came to celebrate Nick's birthday and raise critical funds for at-risk Lincoln County teens. Your support provides long-term residential care for high school youth with wrap-around services, like case management, mentoring, life skills and more.

Thank you for helping The Key to unlock our youth's potential!

Remember as a child how good a new pair of tennis shoes felt? You believed you could run faster. Couldn’t wait to show your friends.

We would say that feeling transcends childhood and follows us through adolescence and beyond.

At The Key, our friends at Finley Shoe Store blessed each resident with a brand new pair of tennis shoes … and the feeling is amazing.

These shoes will guide graduates across their high school stage this week. Support them as they walk to work or head out for outings with mentors. Provide a level of comfort we all seek in this world.

Thank you Finley Shoe Store for your generosity and kindness! Please shop local and support the businesses that give back to our community.

Celebrating the vision, values, and mission that are richly blessing the lives of our young people. This week, we celebrate the mentors who provided quality of life outings that brought smiles to residents’ faces. Thank you for the opportunity for residents to be outdoors, enjoy wholesome activities, like fishing, and build stronger community connections.

We celebrate our volunteer Randy Thomas who donated his time for math tutoring, helping a resident pass a critical exam. We also celebrate the same resident's new job!

We also recognize the perseverance and hearts of our staff. Even during weeks of great accomplishment and celebration, serving teens impacted by trauma presents some unimaginable heartache. Thank you for your care and compassion, going above and beyond to support their needs and unlock their God-given potential.

Do we have any algebra 1 scholars/tutors that could help one of our residents prepare for a critical test Tuesday? She is available to study any time tomorrow (Monday) after 2:30 pm. Thank you in advance!

Our 7th Key graduation celebration! This year, we supported four high school graduates from three different Lincoln County schools.

As we celebrated their perseverance, hard work, and educational advancement, we thank our volunteers who helped make this night extra special, our partners at Saint Louis Counseling for being there for our residents on the difficult days and nights like tonight, and this community that has kept our hearts and doors open since 2019.
