It’s time! One Night. Two Missions. A Lifetime of transformation.

Do you Hold The Key? Join us Sat. Oct. 10 from 5:30-8:30 pm at Clonts Field in Troy. Enjoy food trucks, live music, and family friendly activities. After the festivities, community members will sleep at Clonts Field to raise awareness and work to end homelessness in Lincoln County.

One Night. Two Missions. A Lifetime of Change. Please support The Key and Bridge of Hope Lincoln County for One Night to End Homelessness.

That’s what becoming a sponsor of One Night to End Homelessness is really about.

On October 10, Bridge of Hope Lincoln County and The Key are coming together for ONE NIGHT with one shared purpose: bringing our community together to address homelessness right here at home.

🏠 Bridge of Hope Lincoln County provides emergency shelter, resources, and support to adults and families experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to empower the Lincoln County community to overcome homelessness through healing, resources, and hope.

🔑 The Key provides shelter and support for youth experiencing homelessness, giving young people a safe place to stay and the stability and resources they need to move forward.

Together, we serve people at different stages of life, but we share the same belief:

❤️ Where someone sleeps tonight should not determine what their future looks like.

And we can’t do this work alone.

When you sponsor One Night, you’re doing more than putting your business name on an event. You’re putting your name behind your community.

Your sponsorship helps support local organizations providing shelter, resources, stability, and hope to our Lincoln County neighbors while showing your customers and employees that your business believes in giving back to the community that supports you.

After being blessed with brand new gear (truly amazing!), we want to ensure we can properly store the items onsite for regular use and safety.

We are so grateful to have Home State Health and Nicci Lowrey in our community! Not only do Nicci and Home State Health work to ensure that our residents have access to quality health insurance and related programs to improve their overall health and wellness, they consistently undertake local initiatives to support quality of life and healthy daily living.

❤️When we posted a need for a push mower to maintain our grounds and teach residents important life skills, once again Home State Health and Nicci answered.

❤️The new mower did not stay in its box for long. Despite the heat, one Key resident had the new mower unboxed and in action by the evening.

❤️Thank you Home State Health and Nicci for your generous support that helps us enrich lives, improve health, and unlock our young people’s potential.

Last week, we shared pictures of the First State Community Bank team working at The Key to enhance our lower-level recreation spaces for residents. Taylor Erb and Penny McClain have been working on our Key plans since last spring, and yesterday we had the opportunity to explore the renovations with First State Community Bank.

🗝️❤️The beauty of the space. The thoughtful design. The transformation. It brought forward tears of pure joy and gratitude as we took in ALL that this team has provided for our residents, including dedicated and beautifully designed spaces for games and arts/crafts, music, reading, relaxing, exercising, and recreating. The hand-painted tree where we plan to have our residents initial each leaf to mark their time and growth at The Key … I’m not sure we have fully absorbed the magnitude of this gift.

🗝️❤️But, we do know this. The work of First State Community Bank reflects the heart of this community, that in 2017 took a vacant commercial building and transformed it into a home for our local youth. Where once this space offered unrealized potential, areas that needed special attention and some TLC to repair and restore what may have been broken, now stands something that is unrecognizable and truly beautiful. What a symbolic gift for this space and mission that works to support our youth in their hurt and brokenness, helping them realize their full potential and that they are gift to this community and world.

🗝️❤️To Taylor Erb, Penny McClain, and Taylor Cox, and your team of First State Community Bank volunteers, we are in awe, we are so very grateful, and we can’t wait to see how this space enhances the lives of the young people who call The Key home. THANK YOU!!
