March has been an incredibly busy month! We have helped a family of four move into a home in Ferndale, provided groceries to 6 families, helping a mom and her son move out of a shelter and into an apartment today, assisted a family with coordinating health care for a little with CP, and volunteered at the women’s shelter ( thanks to all who have donated). We also have been walking alongside a mom and her newborn son. So far we’ve partnered with another charity to get her furnace repaired, getting her a new washer and dryer unit getting a door for her bedroom and lots of items for the baby. We also were able to chaperone on a trip to the Detroit science center. Hopefully we will be able to sponsor a trip with kiddos there as a group ourselves. It was an amazing time, especially in the planetarium.
