This week’s Trivia Tuesday question was: In 1949, after more than two decades in office, first-ever National Secretary-Treasurer Grace Davis fell ill and could no longer carry out her duties. The next person elected to that office shares 2/3 of her name with the title of a Beatles song - who was she and for how long did she serve?

The first to correctly answer “Eleanor Grant Rigby, 1949-1954” was Nancy Rieke of Illinois - congratulations! Rigby was a U.S. Navy Commander and will be the subject of this week’s From the Archives Friday post, so check back tomorrow to learn more about her.
