This past weekend, our chapter held our annual Christmas sleepover! They threw a Christmas party for the families and had a blast doing all kinds of activities throughout the weekend!

This weeks bye-light is U.Amy Karageozian. She is the chair of the social committee. She always participates in regional and local events as well as attending our monthly meetings, Ayf is lucky to have U. Amy!

This past weekend we traveled back to camp Ligonier for our favorite regional event which is junior seminar!

In total we had 6 Juniors of which 3 of them were first timers, and 3 seniors! We’re also lucky we had one of our seniors, U.Lilly to be serving on the junior seminar council this year and U. Saro who created the logo!

Overall, we all had a blast learning about our culture/history as well as meeting new friends. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Today the chairman of the Armenian National Committee of Albany Unger Antranig Karageozian and Chairman of Armenian Youth Federation Albany Shoushi Chapter Ungerouhi Lilly Karageozian gave a lecture throughout the day at a local high school. They lectured about the Armenian Genocide and the Artzagh War. They discussed about the current situation with POWs and human rights issues. We were very grateful for the opportunity to go and educate others about our history and bring awareness to what the armenian nation is facing.
