The Bruins found themselves in another back and forth tight game against another gold division team this morning. The teams matched up well and battled each other hard all morning. The Columbus Mavericks getting the go ahead goal with 3:04 left in the game to take a 4-3 win over our Bruins. The final game of the season is always sad to see. Thankful for a great season and the team received several compliments this weekend from other coaches who were impressed with the amount of development these kids achieved in one season. They started as a really good team and finished as a great team. Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported this season for the boys.

The boys and their families enjoyed one last between game meal of the season today. The families put together a nice spread of food, and the grill master Brent Miller worked his magic on the Blackstone.

Bruins win game 2 of the BTHL end of season tournament 5-2 against division rival Northern Kentucky Norse. The boys will face the Columbus Mavericks at 9:40 AM Sunday. Come cheer the boys on in their final game of the season. The game will be streamed here as well.

The Bruins battled hard in an exciting game 1, falling 2-1 in a shootout loss to the gold division Indy Jr. Fuel.

The Bruins will be battling in the 8 team 12U Platinum division of the Buckeye Travel Hockey League end of season tournament this weekend at Goggin Arena- Miami University. Game 1 is Saturday 2:30 PM vs Indy Jr. Fuel. The games will be streamed with commentary by Brent Miller. Stay tuned as their could be bonus footage this weekend.........

The boys collected their ice cream party from a deal earlier in the season. Destiny Bessery offered the team a party if they met a few performance standards as a team. The team rose to the challenge and enjoyed their ice cream!

Sunday afternoon the boys did some video review between games 2 and 3 of the Presidential Power-Play Tournament in Detroit.

The Bruins battled in an exciting and well matched game against the Lakeland Hawks. The teams battled to a 2-2 tie. Unfortunately the tie put us 1 point out of 2nd place and into the consolation game tomorrow.

The Bruins came out swinging like Joe Louis to start the Hockeytown Presidential Power-Play Tournament. The boys speed, passing, smothering defense, and a hot goalie were too much for the Belle Tire 12U AA team. The Bruins played smart as the game got chippy and didn't take a penalty all game. The boys made them pay for their penalties going 2/5 on the power play.

Bruins drop game 2 against CBJ 5-0. This week the boys will be preparing for the Hockeytown Presidential Power-Play Tournament in Detroit, Michigan next weekend.
