Chest of Courage

My Board and I would like to thank you for all your support and kindness since we started this nonprofit in 2022. Our goal when we began was to deliver as many pre-op care packages as possible. Each item in our pre-op care packages had a purpose to help women prepare for what they might need not only at the hospital but also at home during their recovery. In 2022 we delivered 130 packages, in 2023 277 packages, in 2024 105 care packages and 130 support bags, and in 2025 28 support bags. None of this would have been possible without your support, Sharing and Caring, Corewell for delivering our packages to 8 local hospitals, and a local surgeons office who gave them out to their patients.

We will be forever grateful, but at this time the Board and I have decided it is time to start the process of closing our doors. We have used the last of our funds to support these courageous women fighting breast cancer. Each one of us will continue to support anyone who is fighting cancer, and we hope you will as well. Your kindness and support for Chest of Courage will never be forgotten. From the bottom of our hearts to yours, thank you!

Thank you for all your love and support!!! We were able to put together a round of our pre-op care packages. 15 beautiful boxes were delivered today and will be distributed to Corewell Health Cancer Centers. Our hearts are full and happy!💗💗💗

Today is our 3 year Anniversary of giving out pre-op care packages and support bags!!!! 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊In honor of it, we are delivering 30 support bags to the Corewell Heath Breast Cancer Centers. 💗💗
