We are dedicated adult volunteers and a group of Iredell County teens that run this thrift store that exists solely to follow Jesus’s command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Dragon Fly Mission Store grew out of a 4-H group in Iredell County five years ago. The store has no paid staff. Each family in the group takes a turn being responsible for a month’s program and mission focus which incl

udes food for Iredell Christian Ministry in March. Our store has a constant flow of donations coming in and people stopping in to purchase items or receive them for free if they are in need. We take money from the sale proceeds and, after paying building utilities, we use it for mission projects each month. All monies raised are kept in Iredell County, but sometimes we send clothing items that do not sell to international organizations. Our long-term goal is to gather enough funds to purchase the house next door for a food pantry. Owners are Teresa Holbrook and her husband.
