Good morning. The Food Pantry WILL be open today from 4:00-5:00.

You MUST use the parking lot behind the Methodist church and we will use the cleared sidewalk and short ramp. No one will be allowed ti use our driveway. It is not safe.

Good snowy morning. For the safety of our volunteers and clients, the food pantry will be closed again today. The gravel driveway is a mess. Stay tuned for Wednesday’s decision.

The food pantry will remain closed today for all personnel safety. The driveway is not melting in a timely manner. We hope that everyone stays safe and please check in for Monday to see if we will be able to  open that day

Good morning Troutman. The food pantry is in need of the following items.

Peanut butter
Jelly
Sauces: soy, teriyaki, Worcestershire
Cereal
Breakfast bars
Crackers
Pasta variety
Spaghetti sauce

Thanks so much for all your support. We’ve had an excellent turnout this month.

I will be at the pantry Thursday morning to accept delivery. Or you may drop off I. The porch table.

Good morning Troutman. I am at the food pantry until noon today. We were blessed with a lot of fresh produce for the Christmas season. It doesn’t matter if you’re a normal client or not, please come by the pantry on Lytton Street today and get potatoes, onions, a variety of fruits and citrus. Bring your own grocery bags and please come and be blessed. This is open to the general public. If you need it or know someone that does, please come on by. Donna

Happy Thanksgiving to our Troutman family and friends. The Food Pantry will be open today, Wednesday November 26, from 4:00-5:00.

We are in need of “condiments” if your organization, work group, ball team, youth group etc would be willing to host a food drive for Christmas. Needs are below.

Mustard
Ketchup
Mayo
Variety salad dressing
Bbq sauce
Soy sauce
Teriyaki sauce

Things along these lines. Whatever you use we use.

Our soup shelf is overflowing. Thank you all so much for stocking our shelves earlier. We had everything organized and ready to serve when the weather cooled off.

Happy Sunday. This weather has been beautiful but it sure will be changing.

I wanted to thank you all for the outpouring of love, prayers and support for my family and myself during these difficult months and the passing of my dad. It’s been a challenge but thankful to have the time to spend with my parents. Please pray for mom as she navigates a new way of life after 74 years of marriage.

As we enter the holiday season, our food distribution hours remain normal through November. All new clients must live in the Troutman zip code If you have an emergency please call the HELP line at 704-528-0779 and leave a message for Donna

Distribution only:
Monday 3-4
Wednesday 4-5
Friday 5-6

All donations can be arranged by calling the HELP line. A volunteer will set a time to meet and help with donations. If you would like to host a food drive, please call the helpline and leave a message for Donna and I will get back with you.

Our biggest needs going into the winter time are for a variety of soups, oatmeal, grits, and any dried goods.

We will be doing a special Christmas collection of food for our clients this year and posting our December hours in the very near future.

Thanks again for all of your prayers and support during these difficult months and we look forward to seeing you and serving our community together
