From her boots, she’s walked miles most will never see… carried weight most will never feel… and still stood strong when it would’ve been easier to quit.

This National Military Appreciation Month, I honor the grit, the sacrifice, and the quiet strength it takes to serve—especially as a woman in uniform. The early mornings, the long marches, the moments of doubt, and the victories no one claps for… they all shape something unbreakable.

These boots don’t just represent where I’ve been—they represent who I’ve become.

To every service member past and present: your resilience matters, your story matters, and your service is never unseen.

Today we had our annual Spring Female Veterans hike at Jacob’s Beach Falls in Williamsport, PA—and what an incredible turnout! 🌿💪🏽

Thank you to each and every one of you who showed up, supported one another, and made today so special. The strength, connection, and camaraderie in this community never go unnoticed.

A special thank you to Operation H.O.S.T. (Healing Our Sexual Trauma) for joining us and handing out the squishy balls 💙
This organization is dedicated to supporting veterans who have experienced military sexual trauma (MST), offering peer support, advocacy, and personalized healing resources to help survivors navigate their journey.

For those who may not know, MST refers to sexual assault or harassment experienced during military service, and organizations like Operation H.O.S.T. are working to ensure no veteran has to face that journey alone.

And a very special thank you to Elizabeth Maines for organizing this year’s hike—we appreciate your leadership and dedication to bringing us all together!

Already looking forward to the next one! 🇺🇸🥾
