The 5K walk/run this year will be on Saturday October 18th, and will go at 8 am, Registration starts at 7:15 at EG Youth Center. Age group awards!

Why so late? Normally we just do this for the community and put the proceeds toward the youth center but this year, we need help. The steeple needs to be reshingled. All money this year (over the costs of running the event... no pun intended:) will go to the steeple project. If we don't raise enough we will put the money into a CD for a year and hope to do it next year.

It's a great race and a great cause:) We'd love it if you come and do this:) (No pre-registration - Reg the day of the race)

Just printed the release forms for the "Run through the Hickories 5K"

Only $10!
Looks like Saturday is going to be a GREAT day for an early morning race:)
It's going to get up to 88 BUT it will be beautiful first thing!

The EG 5K is on August 24th and race starts at 8am (sign up is day of race) Nice medals and ribbons for top three in 7 categories for both men (and boys) women (and girls)
(EG Youth Center is located at the old Young Hickory Baptist Church in Troupsburg, Young Hickory area.)
- Race is $10 per runner or walker (money raised will go to the youth center
Also a medal for the fastest walker, male and female as well:) Pictures below of former races and awards!

Our 5K this year is coming!!!!!!!! It is August 26th! Sign up is 8:15-9:00 am with the race going at 9am. It is a run/walk.

This woman crossed the line and shared with us that six years ago she was told she would NEVER walk again! Three years of PT and a lot of hard work and we were her first 5K!!!! We were so moved we gave her a medal as she was instantly our hero!!!!
