Touch A Truck 2026

Our team sincerely appreciated the opportunity to showcase our Citizens on Patrol vehicle and distribute informational pamphlets this morning.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Trophy Club Parks & Recreation, Trophy Club Public Safety - Police & Fire, City of Roanoke, Texas Police Department, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 & Town of Trophy Club for their efforts in making this event enjoyable and a success. Special shoutout to our Crossing Guards for their help in safely crossing people.

As we approach the summer months, it is important to remember that water safety is essential, and not all swimsuits provide the same level of visibility in the water. Bright colors, such as neon pink, orange, and lime green, stand out effectively, while colors like blue, gray, and white often blend into the background of lakes and pools. The color of your child's swimsuit can make a life-saving difference.

In both pools and open water, certain colors can become nearly invisible beneath the surface, making it more challenging to spot a child in distress. Choosing high-visibility swimwear can significantly help in keeping an eye on swimmers, especially children. Therefore, keep this in mind when purchasing a swimsuit for your child this summer.

On Saturday, May 9th, 2026, the Touch-A-Truck event will take place at Independence Park East. TCEVA volunteers will participate alongside our police officers and firefighters, showcasing the COP car.
This year's engagement will focus on providing additional support to the police department, distributing safety pamphlets, items for the kiddos and promoting TCEVA's initiatives for our first responders and the community. We look forward to interacting with you there.

The Trophy Club Crossing Guards would like to extend their gratitude to the Medlin Middle School PTA for their generous support and gift bag provided earlier today. The crossing guards not only ensure safe passage for students in school zones but also manage traffic flow and provide assistance during various events. Their courage under pressure, compassion in times of need, and tireless service do not go unnoticed. Because of their efforts, families feel safer, and our community remains strong. We extend our deepest gratitude for all they do—today and every day.

This morning, TCEVA Fire Rehab team was honored to attend Captain Shane Beck's retirement ceremony at the TCFD. Captain Beck dedicated 30 years of service to our community, leaving a lasting legacy of professionalism, leadership, and unwavering commitment.

Congratulations to Captain Beck on his well-deserved retirement, and sincere appreciation for his tireless efforts.
