Trophy Club Rotary

08/07/2026

We were honored to welcome District Governor Angie Cox and our Assistant District Governor, Gene Davenport, to Trophy Club Rotary today!

Angie shared inspiring stories of the incredible impact Rotary clubs are making throughout District 5790 and around the world. Her message reminded us that Rotary is so much more than weekly meetings, it’s about serving others, creating lasting change, and making a difference.

Her challenge was simple: Get in the game.

We’re inspired, energized, and ready to answer that call. 💙

Service Above Self

08/02/2026

Our Rotary motto is Service Above Self, and this week was a great reminder of what that looks like in action.

Instead of our regular meeting, we gathered at Pour Sports for our Pints & Proteins happy hour, where members and guests donated protein-based meals for Metroport Meals on Wheels. These shelf-stable meals will help ensure that local seniors have nutritious food available when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and supported a local business while giving back to our community. It’s amazing what can happen when people come together with a heart for service.

Together, we’re making a difference, one meal at a time. 💙💛

🍉 Spreading a Little Summer Cheer! ☀️

What a great way to kick off a Friday morning! Several members of the Trophy Club Rotary Club met at Metroport Meals on Wheels to help deliver fresh watermelons to local families in need.

Sometimes the simplest gestures can bring the biggest smiles, and we were grateful for the opportunity to share a little summertime joy throughout our community.

A big thank you to Metroport Meals on Wheels for all they do to serve our neighbors, and to our Rotarians who started their day by putting Service Above Self into action. 💙💛

Leadership starts with opportunities like these!

Tracey Bowerfind dropped off our Trophy Club Rotary sponsored student from Byron Nelson High School at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), where she’ll spend the weekend developing leadership skills, building confidence, and making lifelong connections with students from across our district.

We’re especially proud that one of our RYLA students from last year has returned this year as a camp counselor, a wonderful example of the lasting impact this program has on young leaders.

Our club looks forward to welcoming our student home on Sunday and hearing all about her experience. Thank you, Tracey, for helping make this incredible opportunity possible!

We can’t wait to see how these young leaders will make a difference in their schools, communities, and beyond.

On Saturday our Rotary Club hit Highway 114 in Trophy Club for our roadside cleanup!

Armed with gloves, grabbers, and great attitudes, our members worked together to help keep our community beautiful. 💙

And in true “treasure hunt” fashion… one lucky Rotarian even found a $20 bill among the litter! 💵 Talk about cleaning up in more ways than one!

We’re proud to serve Trophy Club and do our part to care for the place we all call home.
