We have some VERY EXCITING news to share! More details to come in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned for info as to when to purchase your “SPLASH OF RED” gala tickets at https://robynruthmemorialfoundation.org/

In the meantime, here’s a message from the Foundation about this year’s charity event and next summer’s golf tournament: ❤️
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Robyn Ruth Memorial Foundation Supporters,
Par for the course? Not if Robyn had anything to do with it. The Robyn Ruth Memorial Golf Tournament obviously could not happen this year due to the circumstances and restrictions, but 2020 is not going to stop us! We recognize this year has been difficult and this may be one of the most critical times we can help a local family or families in need. We are happy to announce that The Robyn Ruth Memorial Foundation will host an event that we believe will be the highlight of the year.
On December 30, 2020 we will end the year with The Robyn Ruth Memorial Gala themed “Splash of Red”. This great event will be hosted at the private home of close friends to the Ruth Family, Kevin and Jen Morgan. The gala will include dinner, open bar, live music, door prizes, and auction items with proceeds benefitting local families. Due to the current circumstances, we must keep this event to a smaller setting than the annual tournament. Everyone is invited, but there will be a limited number of tickets which will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Details will be available on the foundation website https://robynruthmemorialfoundation.org/.
Please help make this event a hole in one! We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of the Robyn Ruth Memorial Foundation. We look forward to hosting the next golf invitational on June 14, 2021. Keep your drivers warm, shine your golf shoes, and get your “putt” to the memorial website for details and gala registration.
Until we golf again my friends,
The Robyn Ruth Memorial Foundation
Happy Monday RRMIGT followers!
We hope all of you are having a fantastic and safe start to the Summer during these crazy times.
As many of you know, the Whitworth course at TCCC is closed for renovations and caused us to postpone this years tournament. With the unfortunate events surrounding the COVID-19 virus the Board has decided to cancel the tournament in 2020, but we will be back in 2021!!!
In the meantime, we want you to know we have a BIG announcement coming soon regarding a different event and fundraiser this Fall! Stay tuned and more to come.
Happy February RRMIGT Followers
We have another inspiring story we would like to share with you. Reagan Harris is local girl who we were able to assist with medical bills during her cancer fight.
In June of 2019, Reagan went to see a sports medicine doctor as a follow up to a physical. The Harris’ expected to be told at worst, Reagan had a tear in her calf, but they got a call that knocked them to their knees. The diagnosis was synovial sarcoma.
Reagan’s treatment plan began immediately and she has battled through multiple chemotherapy and radiation treatments, followed by surgery to remove her soleus muscle.
Cori Harris recently told us, “First and foremost, please know that we are forever grateful to the Robyn Ruth Foundation and the unexpected gift you gave us. It is a huge help with all the medical bills and other costs that we have encountered with Reagan’s diagnosis.”
“Our family has learned that faith conquers fear and our community of friends and neighbors provide tangible evidence of God’s abounding grace and mercy daily.”
We at the Robyn Ruth Memorial Foundation feel inspired by Reagan and the Harris Family’s strength and courage!!
Happy New Year RRMIGT Friends and Family!
We wanted to share with you some amazing things that are happening with the Foundation in our efforts to positively impact the lives of others...Meet Hudson Feldman, pictured here:
Hudson was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma on November 9th 2018.
Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma is a subtype of Rhabdomyosarcoma family of soft tissue tumors. These are mesenchymal tumors related to the skeletal muscle lineage, and the most common pediatric soft tissue cancer.
The Feldmans moved to Dallas, TX in June 2016 from Chicago, Il. Hudson is one of 4 children in the family. He has a twin sister Haylee and also has older twin siblings Hannah & Hunter who are 8 and are in the 2nd grade. (Yes two sets of twins!)
Over the past year Hudson has received several different types of Chemotherapy at Cook Children’s in Ft.Worth. He also spent almost two months at UNC where he underwent a 14 hour surgery to remove part of the tumor followed by 5 weeks of radiation to his abdomen. He is currently in the maintenance phase of his chemo therapy treatment which lasts for 6 months. After this, he will receive a set of scans to determine if he is in remission or if he needs to continue treatment.
No doubt this has been a life changing event for Hudson and the Steven Feldman family.
Steve Feldman recently told the Foundation, “We are thankful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends, and our community. We have learned that we cannot get through on our own.”
“Generous donations from foundations like Robyn Ruth MIGT have been a blessing and we are so thankful to have such an amazing support system.”
We are so thrilled to be able to help support the Feldmans. Our thoughts and prayers are with them while they continue this battle!
