🏃♂️🌬️ Heads up, runners! This Saturday's Trinidad to Clam Beach Run is set to be a chilly one! Don’t forget to bring warm clothes to change into for after the race! We'll make sure they're waiting for you, nice and dry, at the finish line.
Stay cozy after your race! We'll also have two bonfires going to help everyone thaw out. It’s extra chilly this year, so layer up and get ready to enjoy the run and the good times awaiting you at the end! 🔥🧣

This reunion will honor former Humboldt State Hall of Fame Coach Jim Hunt and his wife JoAnn. Their daughter Tracy Gale Hunt will also attend and comment on Coach and JoAnn Hunt's lasting legacy. The Trinidad Eatery will also host a book signing gathering after Saturday’s race.

This long time Trinidad tradition started in 1964 with a man named Ford Hess. Beginning as a training program for the Humboldt State University Track and Field team, the Trinidad to Clam Beach Run (TCBR) has grown over the years and evolved into a fun event for athletes of all ages and families alike.
The 8 ¾ mile race begins approximately 2 miles north of Trinidad on Patrick's Point Drive near Westgate, proceeds south onto Stagecoach Road, through Trinidad, along Scenic Drive to Little River. The course crosses the river and continues along Clam Beach to the finish line at Strawberry Creek.
The 5 ¾ mile race begins in Trinidad and proceeds south on Scenic Drive following the 8 ¾ course to finish at Clam Beach.
The 3 mile race begins at Patrick's Point Drive near Westgate, follows Stagecoach Road and finishes in Trinidad.
At the end of Scenic Drive, the course crosses the Little River at Moonstone Beach. The final leg is on Clam Beach. At the finish line a huge bonfire awaits to warm those chilly feet with a hot bowl of chili and the HSU Marching Lumberjacks to cheer you on!
